Day 4: The Verdon from gorges to river

The Verdon takes its source in the hollow of the Sestriere cirque (2 m above sea level) then joins the Durance at Vinon-sur-Verdon. Its total distance is 500 km.

All water sports enthusiasts know the Verdon well because it is one of the mythical places for the practice of rafting and canyoning.

While the raft plunges you into the spectacular setting of the gorges, a canyoning course allows you to intimately encounter magnificent rock formations, basins, tunnels and small waterfalls.
