The complex structure of the geological site of the Velodrome testifies to the history of the valley, where water flowed in abundance. The curve of the valley carved out at its summit, “the combe”, and the steep slopes which form the outer edges of this hollow evoke the way in which the cycle track slopes in the loops of a velodrome.

Observe the panorama and locate the Blade of Facibelle which you can reach by a short hike. Departure along the D900a, Bès Valley, after the village Vieil Esclangon at the Bès footbridge.
