Day 1: From Col de Larche to Coni

The fountains, as well as the wash houses and "basins", are the fruit of the efforts of an entire community to control and shape the physical space in which the populations have settled.

These facilities have always represented a place of work, a space for social gathering and discussion, but also a point of free access (although regulated) to water, a resource that has always been and will remain a public good par excellence. .
