Built as a defensive structure by Philippe I of Anjou between 1324 and 1332, the castle of Fossano underwent various transformations and sometimes served as a stately residence, prison, barracks and, more recently, library and exhibition space. Also discover the panoramic tower which offers a breathtaking view of Mount Viso and the entire Alpine arc.
